Research on Learning Enhancement Africa Program (LEAP)

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”

Nikola Tesla

The audio-based LEAP was first introduced in several schools in Kenya. Data gathered from before and after LEAP indicate a remarkable impact of LEAP on absenteeism and school performance. After using LEAP for one year in 16 schools, average absenteeism decreased by 65% compared to the previous year.

One of the first schools adopting LEAP was monitored for four years. This once-overlooked rural school, previously amongst the lowest-performing in the county, rose to become second-best performing primary school in all of Kenya.

LEAP aims at learning as well as health and well-being. Research is underway to assess how LEAP improves emotional well-being, school attendance, and trauma recovery in children.
